Day 1: Arrival in Kilimanjaro

Your adventure begins with your arrival at Kilimanjaro International Airport. A representative from our team will greet you and transfer you in a private vehicle to your lodge in Arusha, where you’ll receive a pre-safari briefing. Any outstanding payments will also be collected at this time. Enjoy dinner and an overnight stay at Mount Meru Game Lodge. (Dinner included)

Day 2: Tarangire National Park

After breakfast, embark on a scenic two-hour drive to Tarangire National Park, renowned for its large herds of elephants and iconic baobab trees. Following a quick registration at the park entrance, dive into your first game drive, exploring the rich wildlife throughout the day. Picnic lunch will be enjoyed at one of the park’s designated picnic sites. Expect to see a diverse range of animals, including elephants, zebras, giraffes, buffaloes, and, with a bit of luck, lions, leopards, and rare species like the fringe-eared oryx. Tarangire is also a birdwatcher’s paradise, featuring species such as the Ashy starling. In the late afternoon, transfer to Karatu in the Ngorongoro Highlands for dinner and an overnight stay at Marera Valley Lodge. (All meals included)

Day 3: Ngorongoro Crater

Following breakfast, depart for the Ngorongoro Conservation Area, crossing the stunning Great Rift Valley. After a brief stop at the Loduare Main Gate for registration, head to the Crater rim for breathtaking views of the crater floor. Descend into the caldera for a day of exciting game drives. The Ngorongoro Crater, often referred to as the “Eden of Africa,” offers a unique opportunity to spot the Big Five in one day. Enjoy a picnic lunch at a designated spot, keeping an eye out for kites that may swoop down for your food. In the late afternoon, check in at Marera Valley Lodge. (All meals included)

Day 4: Serengeti National Park

Rise early for breakfast before journeying into the wilds of Serengeti National Park, home to the famed Great Wildebeest Migration. Stop at Naabi Hill Gate for registration, then spend the day exploring the endless plains on game drives. In the late afternoon, check in at Thorntree Camp or Serengeti Tortilis Camp for dinner and overnight. (All meals included)

Day 5: Full Day in Serengeti

An early morning game drive is a fantastic opportunity to witness nocturnal animals settling down and diurnal creatures beginning their day. During this time, many animals are easily visible along the tracks. Depending on the season, you may have the chance to see the Great Wildebeest Migration. Regardless of migration, the Serengeti is home to countless resident animals, including buffalo, leopards, lions, and a variety of bird species. Return to Thorntree Camp or Serengeti Tortilis Camp for another overnight stay. (All meals included)

Day 6: Fly to Zanzibar Island

After breakfast, check out and drive to Seronera Airstrip for your flight to Zanzibar. Enjoy your last game viewing en route to the airstrip. Upon arrival in Zanzibar, a representative will greet you and transfer you to Ocean Paradise Resort at Kiwengwa Beach on the island’s east coast. (All meals included)

Days 7-9: Zanzibar Beach Vacation

Relax and enjoy the beautiful beaches of Zanzibar over the next few days. You’ll stay at Ocean Paradise Resort on a half-board basis, which includes breakfast and dinner. During your stay, we can arrange various excursions at an additional cost, including a Spice Island tour, Stonetown tour, Prison Island visit, Dolphin tours, or the full-day “Safari Blue” tour.

Day 10: Departure from Tanzania

Enjoy breakfast at the resort and check out by 10:00 AM. You can spend the rest of the day relaxing at the beach resort until it’s time for your transfer to the airport for your return flight home. (A day room can be arranged at an additional cost)
